• HIMM began its mission by converting local churches and school buildings into clinics to run its mission
•Now HIMM has completed the Horizon Medical Center (HMC), which is now the new center for HIMM missions. The hospital will handle outpatient and inpatient care.
• We are now in the process of equipping HMC for operation. It will be staffed with local physicians and nurses. We will also allow the national youth service (NYSC) doctors program and resident physicians and nurses from the United States to be part of our teaching program.
• HIMM will engage in training public health educators who will go from village to village to educate the rural community on preventive medicine and HIV/AIDS.
• This operational model will be replicated in different local communities.
